Keeping your fluids flowing
Information, typical questions and answers about Multiphase Boosting
Multiphase boosting is probably the most important technology in the field of artificial lifting. “Multiphase” stands for the mixture of gas, liquids and solids that emerge from the reservoir together. “Boosting” means that this mixture experiences an increase in pressure at the surface to reach the prevailing system pressure. As a result, the sources are relieved of system pressure and pump more and longer. Multiphase Boosting can be realised by different types of pumps and can be ideally combined with most other Artificial Lifting technologies.
We would like to give you an overview of our techniques and have therefore developed our Multiphase Wiki. It contains a glossary of the most important terms and a detailed list of typical questions and easy-to-understand answers – the FAQ.
The Multiphase Wiki is aimed at all our customers, from asset management and EPC contractors to operators or service engineers. The wiki is regularly expanded and edited. However, if there is no answer to your question, just contact us!
