Soft pack for Bornemann E4L 164 progressive cavity pumps / mono pumps

Soft packings are contact seals for dynamic sealing of the pump shafts. They allow for low leakage: the penetrating medium here acts as lubrication for the sealing point to prevent excessive heating due to friction.

Our tip: Soft packs wear out over time and should be checked regularly and, if necessary, replaced.

Alternative names: "stuffing box packing".
